Bobby's blog - Optimal Prediction - reports that the US is conducting Z-machine tests on plutonium despite condemnation : http://optimalprediction.com/wp/us-is-conducting-z-machine-tests-on-plutonium/#comment-1644

Unbelievable.
What is the matter with these sociopaths.
And what happened at Fukushima Mon Oct 1? Two earthquakes in the same location. Is that common? http://enenews.com/5pm-et-3-quakes-hit-fukushima-in-last-2-hours-m5-2-m4-4-and-m4-4-2-at-almost-identical-location-maps
Since I've concluded that much of the inventory is going to end up in the ocean and atmosphere given what I've seen at the plant and what I've read over the last year and a half -
given that conclusion - I've been trying to get a sense of how many petabequerels of radiation are estimated as contained in the fuel rods at the plant.
This is the only figure I could find:
[Excerpted] “The 2,000 tons of nuclear fuel at the Fukushima Daiichi Plant is estimated to contain about 20,000,000 tb of radiation. This means that the Fukushima plants holds an accumulated total radiation equivalent to 138 times the amount that leaked from the Chernobyl plant, or 24% of the total radiation released during the history of atmospheric nuclear tests. Fujioka Atsushi "Two Headed Dragon" http://www.japanfocus.org/-Fujioka-Atsushi/3599
20,000,000 tb is 20,000 petabecquerels
Atsushi's volume estimate seems to include ALL radioisotopes.
Robert Alavarez just provides us info on Cesium 137:
[Excerpted] The total spent reactor fuel inventory at the Fukushima-Daichi site contains nearly half of the total amount of Cs-137 estimated by the NCRP to have been released by all atmospheric nuclear weapons testing, Chernobyl, and world-wide reprocessing plants (~270 million curies or ~9.9 E+18 Becquerel). Cited at Akio Matsumura http://akiomatsumura.com/2012/04/682.html
Majia here: I want to know what to expect. I tried to compare these figures with data on some of the biggest atmospheric tests, e.g., the Czar bomb, but I could not find data on how much radiation was actually emitted by these mega-bomb tests.
I posted my findings at Bobby1's blog, Optimal Prediction.
Bobby1 responds to my comment at his blog about these findings:

Majia, thanks for the info. I want to
point out that re-criticalities increase the amount of radioactivity over and
above the fuel inventories. This is because the neutrons from the chain
reaction activate other substances and make them radioactive. So it is possible
that the coriums are more radioactive now than they were on 3/1//2011. This is
the huge danger….
... I also believe that phase 2 of the
Fuku catastrophe is starvation. There must be humungous amounts of tritium and
carbon-14 to cause the damage we are seeing to plants worldwide. This is global.
See Bobby's post on Dying Trees http://optimalprediction.com/wp/dying-trees/
Majia here: In Dying Trees, Bobby describes how ozone damage is "being potentiated by tritium and carbon-14." He explains that carbon-14 is being produced at Fukushima. I recommend reading the post.
I've commented previously about my concerns that Fukushima fallout is impacting weather and contributing to the drought in the US.
If radiation is also affecting plant growth, then we are truly in trouble....
