CORPORATIONS AND GOVERNMENTS TRIED TO HIDE SCOPE OF BP DISASTER

The Guardian is reporting on how BP and the White House tried to hide scientific findings on the scope of the Gulf disaster.

Here is the link to the memos that the Guardian is posted. They were obtained using the U.S. Freedom of Information Act http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/interactive/2011/apr/15/bp-internal-meeting-notes

Here is the Guardian's story http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2011/apr/15/bp-control-science-gulf-oil-spill?intcmp=239

"Emails expose BP's attempts to control research into impact of Gulf oil spill Documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act show BP officials discussing how to influence the work of scientists...

"Other documents obtained by Greenpeace suggest that the politics of oil spill science was not confined to BP. The White House clashed with officials from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) last summer when drafting the administration's account of what has happened to the spilled oil. On 4 August, Jane Lubchenco, the NOAA administrator, demanded that the White House issue a correction after it claimed that the "vast majority" of BP oil was gone from the Gulf. A few days earlier, Lisa Jackson, the head of the EPA, and her deputy, Bob Perciasepe, had also objected to the White House estimates of the amount of oil dispersed in the gulf...."

Majia here: maybe we should take anything the Gov says about Fukushima with a grain of salt...

  1. Lies are easy! The coming interest rate rises will impoverish many in America, while enriching others, who own BP and the rest.
I am a lawyer by training. The only mnon-violent way to stop this is to enforce the Constitution against both CONgress and Ececute ive.
As a university member you have an advantage over me. Any chance of getting law students interested in defending the Constitution?

  2. It is a known FACT that our Congress is Bought and PAID FOR. While they were voting on the Banking crisis Goldman Sachs was shoving money down their pants.

Congress is also good at the "BLAME GAME" If they are not blaming someone Else..for stalling progress they are being caught in their own FILTH. Example, The Congressman that found a "BOY" on Craigslist. i.e. "YOU" Ruined MY LIFE!!! Not that it was His Actions that lead him down that road right? How many of Congresses WEIRD PARTIES have we heard of that were PAID FOR with TAX DOLLARS while they had BOYS or GIRLS jump out of Cakes for them.

These are Elderly Men (Aged Men) that are supposed to be WISE and elected to represent "WE THE PEOPLE." Here in Montana, I don't need my Senator DRUNK on the house floor nor do I need a Young Boy to service his needs either or a Young Girl. Yet these are the MEN that are writing LAWS for US. YOU AND I to live by and they are EXEMPT.

To me that is like watching a Crippled old lady having to walk from the back of the parking lot because a Congressman parked in their Handicapped space because they knew they could get away with it.

As Congress takes their Flight's to God knows where... I wonder how they would feel as a TSA Agent (Who is Not a Cop, Nor an Officer of any Law) Shove their hands up their Shorts and play with their Junk. (Although) Some might like that. :O)

Congress, The White House and BP ALL SUCK!!!
